Frenchmorning.com is the first brainchild of French Morning Media Group. The site was founded in 2007 by Emmanuel Saint-Martin, a journalist and correspondent for France 24 in New York. Ten years later, this web-magazine is the leading online media for French people living in the United States, with six local editions in the US and one in the UK: New York, Washington DC, Miami, Texas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and London.
VU per month.
That’s 25% more than last year. 350,000 of them are visiting our US editions (100,000 of them from France), and 50,000 are visiting our London edition. 60% of our readers are returning users, looking at 1.8 pages per session. 85% of site visitors in France live in Paris.
Our audience is mainly composed of a career-oriented population. According to a recent study of our readers, 80% have a bachelor’s degree or higher, and 20% have a PhD. More than 65% are working in a senior management position.
We have slightly more women than men reading French Morning. This imbalance in the gender makeup of our readership is consistent with the global gender ratio. Our women readers reach the site mainly through our newsletter, while male readers are more likely to reach the site through social media.
